• Edit the dateparse.js file.
• Find the magicDate function.
• Add the following code at the top of the magicDate function.

  if(input.value == input.title) {
  	return true;
  }

This should fix it and as long as the title doesn't have the date delimiter in it you'll be fine, otherwise you will have to modify the if statement on line 216 of calpopup.js to add && !(tmp.value == tmp.title).

You will still have to validate the input field's value before submitting the form and add special code to blank out the date field if the value is equal to the title.]]>
The reason you're having this problem is because the dateparse routine runs on blur which is also when the hint plugin replaces the blank input field with the title of the input field. The title of the input field is not a valid date, so dateparse returns an error. To fix this we'll have to check the input field's value against the title and return if they are equal.

Im facing very wierd issue.the drop-down menu is working fine but on one of the server(Iplanet) on IE6 it is giving me prob.it is showing blank menu. for ref. here is the java script.
